Ellie Nieves is a Professional Speaker and Leadership Coach. Ellie works with and speaks for companies, organizations and associations that want to develop their emerging leaders into effective managers and executives. Ellie also coaches women who want to advance in their careers and want to achieve more in their personal and professional lives.  

Before launching Leadership Strategies for Women™, LLC, Ellie, who is an attorney by profession, gained extensive coaching and leadership experience working in politics, government and for a Fortune 100 company. Ellie has mentored, coached, and advised various elected officials, executives, and emerging leaders. Her previous roles include General Counsel to the Bronx Borough President and Assistant Vice-President and Chief of Staff to the President of MetLife International.

As a Leadership Speaker and Coach, Ellie draws from her professional background, as well as from her experiences as a woman of faith, wife, stepmother, and Women's Leadership Coach to help women develop leadership skills, set strategic goals, bolster effectiveness and create a personal brand.  

In her spare time, Ellie enjoys traveling and keeping up with current events. She loves to read, journal, watch movies, spend time with friends, and dance Salsa with her husband. Ellie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Fordham University and a Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law. Ellie and her husband Juan live in New York.
